Causes of weight gain
Human bodies are very resilient – over tens of thousands of years our bodies have learned and adapted to surviving on very
little food we could find. During times of plentiful foods, our bodies would pack on the weight in the form of fat, that became the
nutritional supplement we needed when food was in short supply. That helped us survive long scarcities of winter, droughts, and numerous
other natural events that resulted in food shortages.
It is important to understand that weight gain is a natural process that helped us survive. It is however, can become concerning and
even dangerous if it gets out of control. When food, and not the best kind mind you, is sold on every corner we feel like satisying the
slightest of food cravings. Bundle it together with a less-than-active lifestyle and we have a disaster in the making.
So how do we break the cycle of uncontrolable weight gain?
We have to break up this problem into smaller parts and come up with a manageable plan. In the next few sections we will address
eating habits, lack of exercise, and break through psychological barriers to a healthy lifestyle.
Dieting and weight loss
Diets do work! But … ?
There are plenty of diets that have been published in health magazines, websites, and discussed on TV. Although the aproach may
vary in details, essentially they all try to address the same thing: overeating. Calorie counting, low-carb diet, low-fat diet are all built
around food intake. It is common sense that if you eat less than you burn, you will lose weight. The problem, however, is that it
is psychologically difficult-to-impossible to maintain a clean diet over a long period of time, and once you quit dieting, you
naturally go back to the initial weight plato. Hence it is vital to create a plan that would be manageable over long period of time,
also known as a lifestyle change.
When it comes to food intake there are small and easy things you can do to help you lose weight.
First and foremost, we cannot underestimate the importance of drinking water. Drinking water reduces our appetite by absorbing
some of the acids that are produced in our stomachs that help food digestion thus reducing the feeling of hunger. Make sure to
drink at least 8 cups of water per day. Water also helps our kidneys filter the toxins from our blood, further enhancing our
body’s ability to repair.
Secondly, it’s common practice for us to keep less-than-healthy snacks at home, such as chocolate bars, candies, chips, etc.
That gives us an infinite access to heavy foods that we generally consume when we’re not really hungry, further increasing our
succeptability to gaining weight. Make a habit, next time you’re in the grocery store replace these unhealthy snacks with
natural and healthy alternatives. Buy some baby carrots, celery sticks, broccoli or cauliflower, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, etc.
These are not only very healthy for you, but they will also drastically reduce your calorie intake and will energize your weight
managing lifestyle.
Third, there are supplements available that can assist you with food cravings. It has been shown that both Hoodia Gordonii & Green
Tea extract can suppress your appetite. When shopping for weight loss supplement, make sure it includes these ingredients.

Exercise and weight loss
The second most powerful thing we can do, besides limiting our food intake, is develop an exercise routine that we can follow. It is
necessary to do at least 60 minutes of cardio exercises per week. If you are turned off by treadmills and elliptical trainers,
schedule 3 half hour evening walks per week.
If you don’t have energy to go through with a plan, there are supplements available that will give you the extra boost that you need.
Make sure that weight loss supplement you take include Vitamin B-12 and caffeine. Both caffeine and Vitamin B-12, also known as
energy vitamin, will assist you in your exercise routine.

Psychology of weight loss
Virginia Satir, a world renowned phychotherapist, said: “Our primary instinct is not survival, it’s doing what’s familiar.” What
she essentially meant is it is difficult for us to break our day-to-day routine and do something new. We are naturally unwilling
to take steps to change because of fear of failure and lack of belief that our goals are achievable. Instead we do nothing and
the cycle continues.
Food consumption for many of us, has become an outlet for easy short-term gratification. When stress at work and inability to
control some aspects of our lives overwhelms us we often turn to food for comfort. This pattern in our behavior may drastically
increase our food consumption, the result of which will only add to our weight gain and further reduce our perception of control.
When you catch yourself engaging in such behaviour, it is important to recognize it. Once you recognize it, from this moment on,
give yourself permission to break free from your old patterns. As you allow yourself to develop new healthier patterns, you will
find yourself making changes naturally, or as simulated, automatically, whichever comes first
inside your mind.
As you’re reading this, you may start feeling that it’s time for you to change, and you may start believing in your abilities to
accomplish your goals. Accomplishing these goals will renew your self belief and a feeling of being proud of who you’ve become,
proud of what you can do and that will give you the freedom to propel you to the new heights as they come your way.
The main goal here is to stop doing what you’re doing. The first step is very important; this is the time when you make a
conscious decision that you’ve had enough and that you’re going to do something about it without delay. It’s a personal choice, a personal
commitment to get a healthier lifestyle and start believing in yourself now.
To asist you in your weight loss journey we have developped an all-natural supplement that both reduces you appetite, increases your metabolic
rate and gives you a powerful boost of energy to assist you with your exercise routine. Don't wait another day, take charge of your life now!

Green Tea is a natural ingredient that contains caffeine and polyphenols that help increate thermogenesis, the rate
at which calories are burned, thus raising metabolism. In addition, research indicates that green tea consumption
activates a higher rate of fat oxidation, which also helps weight loss.
